Made from vintage kimono fabric passed down over many years and tailored into a drawstring (kinchaku) bag. Pull the cord, and the top of the bag opens out like a folding fan (sensu).
The front shows the fabric's pattern at its best. A calm purple textile with a continuous, delicate komon-style pattern. The layering of fine motifs creates a subtle yet deep expression.
The back is paired with pink velour. The gold metal fittings at the ends of the kimono cords sway on the back as you move.
