KOTOWAZA POUCH -Seiran (Indigo Bloom)

A special pouch crafted from the same vintage kimono fabric as the KOTOWAZA BAG.

The first edition features the embroidered phrase “Ichigo Ichie” (Treasure Every Encounter). With Japanese embroidery on one side and English on the other, it offers two expressions of the same timeless message.

An original handcrafted tassel gently sways from the side, while the interior is lined with a luxurious Japanese-patterned fabric that brings a touch of joy every time you open it. Just like the proverb itself, every encounter with vintage fabric is truly one of a kind.

This design embodies a striking and refined beauty, featuring bold blue florals blooming against a crisp white background. Rendered in shades of Seiran, a traditional blue hue associated with serenity and quiet intelligence, the pattern feels both fresh and sophisticated.

Large chrysanthemums are arranged boldly across the fabric, while smaller blossoms radiate around them like ripples on water, creating a sense of graceful movement and harmony.

Unlike modern printed textiles, the hand-drawn character of the original design remains visible through subtle variations in the lines and delicate brush-like textures. These details give the flowers a remarkable sense of vitality, as though they might come to life at any moment.

Daily care:
After use, gently wipe off any dust from the surface with a soft cloth.

If it gets dirty:
Remove dirt by gently patting with a dry cloth. Rubbing can damage the fabric and cause pilling.

Stain removal:
If there is any stain that won't come off, we recommend that you do not try to rub it off forcefully, but instead consult a professional kimono dry cleaner.

Please hand wash or dry clean to maintain the quality. Avoid machine washing.
