Pull the cord, and the top of the bag opens out like a folding fan (sensu).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front shows the fabric's pattern at its best. The pattern is called \"Kurashi\" (Scenes of Daily Life): a village scene with a person rowing a boat by the river, a person crossing a bridge, and cherry and peony blossoms in bloom — like a slice cut out of everyday life. We have prepared five bags in this light-blue fabric, each with a different pattern. The section of fabric differs from bag to bag, so even though they are made from the same kimono, each one has its own expression.
